When it's time to restore a VMDK file, you do it from the menu. You can search for your VMDK by Host, Name, Date or by search.
| You can also search for your VMDK, that you want to restore by any part of its name. |
We chose to restore by date, so we are shown a list of all backup dates on the FTP server.

We choose the 6th, and now we're shown a list of all backups made on the 6th. Server dft01 is an Oracle DB that gets backed up 5 times a day.

We can pick a VMDK and Zoom, thus only showing all backups for that one VMDK.

| Restoring a VMDK is as simple as choosing one and hitting enter. |

Once the DELTA file is downloaded, it is executed like a program, and it has its own restore menu. You can execute the Delta Backup file in regular Linux and Windows (using CYGWIN).

When you choose to restore a DELTA, the new VMDK file will be created first using vmkfstools and the backup will be properly imported into the VMFS.
| The DELTA backup is restored, then it is verifed. |
| You can also restore a FULL backup instead. |
